Zefarias Legacy
Ch.2

In front of me I could see a little stand with a door on it and to my right and left, ancient almost egyptian like walls with scribbles all over it ( I think). This place kinda reminded me of some kind of memorial room or something. I look back on the floor and saw chunks of ice shattered all around me. It was then that I realized that I was freezing ( I feel very smart today ). But as I took a second look I freaked out. The ice was burning ( I could see the flames and everything ). Completely freaked out, I ran through the door in front of me. Wham!! I fly sideways to the left as I was knocked back by some unseen thing. I hit a wall ( more like broke through the wall ) and rolled on the ground. I got up as fast as I could and checked my self ( I shouldn't be able to even stand! ) Then sqinting through the dust I manage to make out the out line of some kinda beast like thing. But that was all I could make out before ( is it he or she? ) it charged at me again with unbelievible speed. The first thing on my mind was run!!, but out of pure intstinct ( I guess ) I flipped over the head and grabbed on to it's broad neck. Now that I could see it I puked because it was horrible looking. It had the shape of a bull except that it had a disgusting brown and green blend to it like a boger. And while it didnt have horns it did have over a hundred different mouths on it. Not long after discovering this I screamed because it bit my fingers and hands that where on its neck. Hurt and shocked ( plus I think I lost a finger ) I fell on to the ground ( actually the floor ) and rolled away. I got up quick and looked at my suroundings. Ironically we where in some kind of fine china shop, but it was hard to find it funny when there was people running around screaming. Completly annoyed and tired of being smacked around I decided to start fighting back. Luckily there was a sword on ( what was left of ... ) the shelf next to me. I grabbed and unseathed as fast as I could. The blade looked very shiny and slick as if it where brand new. I stood in front of the hole in the wall where a lot of light was coming from hoping the sword would shine bright enough to draw the monsters attention. It took one quick look at me and ran as fast as it did before. I tried to stand in my best samurai pose ( I could've sworn I heard some one snicker in the crowd ) Then at the last second I stepped to the side and slashed at the thing with all my might ( and imagine that just this morning I though this going to be a very boring day ) But two things where wrong with this scene. One I forgot, but when I was on the monsters back, it's skin felt like steel. And number two the sword was made of glass. Completly caught by surprise an dumbfounded I didn't notice the beast coming from my side. Whack!! I was hit again, but this time as I went up I ended up rolling on it's back and was being chewed on until I fell off. At this point only one thought went through my mind " I'm going to kill this thing." I tried to get up but it hit me again. The monster just reapeted this over and over again faster and faster until it was no more than a blur. At this point I was completly pissed off. Then at the peak of my rage when I manage to get up I put my left hand out and grabbed the thing by it's forehead. I could see the shock and fear in it's eyes as I gripped my hand harder and formed my right hand into a fist. Then I focused all my rage in to right hand and ( did it just get brighter in here? ) punched it as hard as I could right between the eyes ( and above one mouth ). To everyone's surprise ( especially mine ) the beast flew through the next four buildings ahead of me, but the bigest shock was the electricity trailing behind the thing from my fist. Frightened I looked looked away only to see in the shards of mirror the lightning fading away from my eyes and skin.
